Lately every weekend has found the FNO crew biking on what is considered what is some of the best single track on the east coast. That said, it is still relatively tame to most videos we watch, and it pales in comparison to this video. This video was shot our direction just recently and it features mountain biking where it doesn't belong- In the Dolomites on a fixed lined climbing trail. This is known as "Via ferrata" in the Alps and it translates to "Iron Road" in Italian. The climb requires fixed lines to tie into given the danger of the sheer cliffs adjacent to the trail. If it requires fixed lines for climbers, it only makes sense to take a mountain bike on the same trail and give it a whirl. Well that's just what we found. Enjoy Via Ferrata.
That is what this rough wide is already being titled. There's no fancy editing- In fact, this just looks like a cell phone quality video production, but the point is magnitude of the wipeout. Rough seas on the Brazilian shores called Pedro Calado and a few other locals daredevils out for a dance on the waves. A stiff headwind held Calado at the lip of the wave delaying his drop-in, and the rest is painful history. Calado relates that his time underwater after the wipeout was one of the deadliest experiences he has been through. And that's coming from a guy with a "Wipeout of the Year" entry from just four months ago! These big-wave surfers are nuts.

The production of these videos are getting more impressive every year. There's no doubt this video keeps up the trend. This is a promotional video for the Dubai Dream Jump system and the world's longest urban zipline. It doesn't need some verbose description about how cool it is- the video does it justice. Enjoy the ride from your computer chair as you plummeted 1200ft from the beautiful Dubai skyline. And even then it'll still get your nerves up.
